-LightCycler/HybProbes – LCPs

The LightCycler® (LC®) hybridization probe system is based on two oligonucleotide probes that hybridize, in a head-to-tail arrangement, to adjacent sequences of the target DNA (hybridization assays).

Metabion synthesizes LC® probes in an ISO-certified manufacturing facility using processes licensed by Roche. We offer LC®probes in 7 different scales at defined molar amounts.

We offer our probes in final yields – nmoles delivered.


RNA custom oligos

  • siRNA/RNAi/dsRNA – Single tube/plate

siRNA is well studied in the RNA interference (RNAi) pathway, where it regulates the expression of specific genes, whose mRNA bears complementary nucleotide sequences. In this context, siRNAs function by disrupting complementary mRNAs, resulting in no translation.

Small interfering RNA (siRNA), sometimes known as short interfering RNA or silencing RNA, is a class of double-stranded RNA molecules, 20-30 base pairs in length.
