SeePlex(TM) STD Detection of Multiple Pathogens, offers these benefits:
Extreme Specificity and Reproducibility wThe innovative DSO™ technology is employed to provide accurate results by addressing the problems of false effects associated with the conventional PCR method.
Convenient Data Analysis wA urine sample is sufficient for a precise result. wInternal control is used to check for difficulties that may arise during the DNA, viral RNA preparation or PCR process. wCarryover Prevention System - The 8-methoxypsoralen (8-MOP) is included to prevent the PCR products from acting as templates.
Collection and transport of specimens wThe specimen should be collected with dacron swabs from either vaginal or urethral exudates, urine or sperm. Store the sample in a refrigerator, (2-8ºC), until rapid refrigerated transport can be ensured.
